It was a normal day and a normal night
Our lives needed some light
We sat and gazed at the moonlight
But it was not so bright
Suddenly a thought came at the speed of light
We lit and watched each other's sight
One after the other made the air feel light
We saw how the world had lost its right
Slowly we held each other tight
And after all those years we only saw a 30 minute light
